About The Position

Career Development / Certified Nursing Assistant Teacher Multiple sites, travel required 1.0 FTE Effective Date of Employment: Beginning of the 2026-27 school year Application Deadline: April 23, 2026

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing, current Minnesota RN licensure.
• Minimum of two years of licensed nursing experience (LPN or RN) in the US, at least one year in the provision of long term care facility services in the US.
• Instructor must complete the Minnesota State-Long Term Care Nursing Assistant and Home Health Aide Curriculum training.
• Eligible for a Tier 1 or Tier 2 Minnesota Teaching License.

Nice To Haves

• Public Health certificate desired.
• Demonstrated experience and proficiency working with a culturally, ethnically, racially and socioeconomically diverse school community is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide students with daily instruction in Certified Nursing Assistant curriculum.
• Schedule and supervise student clinical hours.
• Work collaborative with post-secondary partner to address concurrent enrollment requirements.
• Schedule student written and clinical exams.
