Requirements

• Licensed by the state of Minnesota to teach (Transportation Careers 7-12) or eligible for community expert variance in Aviation Occupations or Transportation Careers or eligible for Community Expert/Variance.
• Strong general academic background.
• Ability to relate positively to students, staff, and community.

Nice To Haves

• FAA Ground Instructor license (BGI or AGI) preferred
• FAA Pilot Licensure (Private or Commercial) preferred
• Understanding of FAA written exams and best practices for preparing students for success on them
• Demonstrated experience and proficiency working with a culturally, ethnically, racially and socioeconomically diverse school community is preferred.
