About The Position

Are you a natural storyteller and community builder? We are looking for a high-energy High School Outreach Representative to be the face of our Houston campus. Your mission is simple but powerful: build vibrant partnerships with local high schools, inspire students through dynamic presentations, and guide them toward life-changing careers in allied health. If you love public speaking, networking, and helping young adults find their "why," this is the role for you.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Education, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in admissions, recruitment, or education-related outreach.
  • Exceptional public speaking and presentation skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences (students, parents, and counselors).
  • A track record of working effectively with various stakeholders and local organizations.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools, data management, and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to travel to local high schools, college fairs, and community events as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Represent our university at college fairs, community events, and high school presentations to drive interest and inquiries.
  • Develop and maintain strong bonds with high school counselors and educators to create a pipeline for student success.
  • Lead prospective students and their families through the entire enrollment process, from the first informational session to their first day of class.
  • Facilitate partnership enrollments by working with students from affiliated high school and higher education programs.
  • Proactively generate and nurture new inquiries, ensuring consistent follow-up to convert interest into enrollment.
  • Provide clear guidance on applications, scholarships, and financial aid to help students overcome barriers to entry.
