About The Position

This position is for technicians who will assist with a special project, with opportunities to learn additional skills that could lead to future roles in plumbing, HVAC, and general maintenance in middle Tennessee. The project involves traveling to various pre-defined locations in Davidson County, TN, to perform specific tasks on water meters, typically taking 15-30 minutes per location, and gathering data using an iPad. Key qualities for this role include a positive attitude, attention to detail, and a focus on customer satisfaction. The role requires some heavy lifting, bending, and outdoor work. While trade experience is preferred, it is not mandatory. A company vehicle, uniforms, and a tablet are provided, with a phone also provided when necessary. Although there may be long-term opportunities for high-performing individuals, this specific project is expected to conclude in late 2026.

Requirements

A positive attitude and a willingness to learn
Ability to lift 50 or more pounds regularly
Clean Driving Record
Ability to Travel within the State of Tennessee
Proficient with Tablets and Web Based Applications
Driver's License (Required)

Nice To Haves

Basic Carpentry, Plumbing, and Handyman experience a plus
Some trade experience preferred
