About The Position

We’re looking for an experienced IT Administrative Support professional to assist our IT team with day-to-day administrative and support tasks. This role is highly documentation- and process-focused and supports primarily internal employees. The work is typically 50% phone/telecom-related tasks and 50% email-based support, though the mix can vary by day. If you’re organized, detail-oriented, and enjoy keeping things running smoothly through clear communication and strong documentation, this could be a great fit.

Requirements

  • Previous administrative experience (preferably supporting an IT team or technical department)
  • Strong written communication skills with proven ability to write documentation others can easily understand
  • High attention to detail and ability to handle ticket data entry accurately and consistently
  • Professional, helpful customer service mindset—most interactions are with internal employees
  • Comfortable juggling tasks and shifting priorities as volume changes day-to-day

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure (basic understanding of cloud concepts, Azure portal exposure, or working alongside Azure-based teams)
  • Prior experience supporting telecom/phone systems, voicemail administration, or unified communications tools
  • Experience working in an ITIL-style environment (incident/request tickets, SLAs, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Set up, configure, and delete voicemail boxes and related phone system items
  • Respond to and triage requests via email and phone support channels
  • Create and maintain documentation that is clear and easy for anyone to follow (step-by-step guides, FAQs, process notes)
  • Perform data entry and updates in ticketing systems to ensure accurate request tracking and follow-through
  • Communicate with internal employees to gather details, confirm needs, and provide updates
  • Occasionally coordinate with vendors as needed (rarely external customers)
