About The Position

We are looking for an IT Intern to join our team in Rowley, MA and gain hands-on experience supporting day-to-day IT operations. This role offers a front-row seat to how technology supports a fast-paced manufacturing environment, covering end-user support, system setup, and internal tools. You will work alongside the IT team, assisting with troubleshooting issues, setting up equipment, and creating documentation. You will also be exposed to projects aimed at improving IT service management and delivery across the business. This position is suitable for someone who enjoys problem-solving, staying organized, and learning through practical experience, as you will be actively contributing.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing an associate or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Interest in IT support within an office and manufacturing environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized
  • Good communication skills and willingness to work directly with end users
  • Ability to troubleshoot problems and think through solutions
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
  • Dependable and team-oriented approach

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to Active Directory
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and Office tools
  • Experience with help desk or ticketing systems (ServiceDesk Plus, Spiceworks, etc.)
  • Experience with remote support tools like Kaseya or similar
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT) or imaging tools
  • Exposure to Microsoft Intune or other MDM solutions
  • Basic knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Windows Server environments
  • Experience supporting mobile devices (iPhone, Android)

Responsibilities

  • Support the IT team by managing and routing help desk tickets to the right resources
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and walk users through solutions
  • Document issues and resolutions clearly to support future requests
  • Set up workstations, monitors, and peripherals for employees onsite
  • Track and manage IT assets in the asset management system
  • Pre-provision new devices using Microsoft Autopilot
  • Image and configure systems using tools like MDT and Autopilot
  • Coordinate hardware repairs and track progress with vendors
  • Assist with applying system updates, patches, and software upgrades
  • Create documentation for common IT tasks and processes
  • Support research and development of internal service catalog tools
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace
