About The Position

We’re looking for a friendly, motivated Junior Help Desk Technician to be the first point of contact for IT support across our company. This entry-level role is perfect for someone early in their IT career who enjoys helping people solve tech problems and wants to grow their skills in a Microsoft-centric environment. You’ll work with Windows devices, Microsoft 365, basic networking, and user accounts — all while learning from experienced IT professionals.

Requirements

  • Basic comfort with computers, Windows OS, and productivity software
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Willingness to learn IT concepts and tools
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 0–1 years experience in IT help desk or support role — we welcome recent grads and career changers!

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 admin tools
  • Basic networking knowledge (DNS, DHCP, IP)
  • Experience with remote support tools
  • IT certifications (CompTIA A+, Microsoft Fundamentals, etc.)
  • Some college or IT coursework preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide Tier 1 help desk support to end users via phone, email, and in-person
  • Assist with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint) support
  • Perform password resets and account unlocks in Azure AD / Microsoft 365
  • Help create/disable user accounts and assign access rights
  • Troubleshoot basic Windows issues (Windows 10/11)
  • Assist with printer/scanner setup and support
  • Log, track, and update support tickets in our help desk system
  • Escalate complex issues to higher-level IT staff
  • Help set up new computer hardware and software
  • Keep inventory of IT assets and equipment
