As a Help Desk Intern, you will: Field first level technical Help Desk requests in a timely manner; communicates regularly with the users of the status of the request. Support employees and field staff by answering incoming calls and resolving requests submitted through the ServiceNow ticketing system. Maintain, analyze, troubleshoot and repair computer systems; install, repair, or replace components in laptops, desktops, printers, and other peripherals. Assist in maintaining the telephone network. Assist in maintaining all mobile devices including but not limited to iPhones, Androids, and radios. Update and advise supervisor of activities. Assist Help Desk with calls and tracking.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university
  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university and entering senior year, pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in IT, MIS, Computer Science or related discipline.
  • Excellent customer service, professionalism, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills including creative problem-solving solutions.
  • Ability to multitask, analyze issues and resolve problems quickly with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Mac OS, Windows 11, as well as current MS Office applications.
  • Knowledge of Android and Apple IOS systems.
  • Familiar with building, configuring, and troubleshooting PC hardware components.
  • Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel occasionally to business locations as needed.
  • Position is onsite in the corporate office in Wall, NJ.
  • Visa sponsorship is not available for this position, including for student visas.
