Requirements

Minimum 5 years of die tryout and press operation experience
Background in development and design of tools and dies
Strong mechanical aptitude and demonstrated problem-solving skills
Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints
Hands-on experience with large stamping presses
Exceptional attention to detail and adherence to quality standards
High school diploma or GED
Consistent attendance and reliability

Responsibilities

Set up and operate hydraulic stamping presses rated at 2,000+ tons
Run production for steel, aluminum, and prototype stamped parts
Handle die setup, tryouts, and on-the-fly adjustments for quality outcomes
Inspect finished components to confirm quality and print conformance
Use precision tools—calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and gauge blocks—to verify dimensions
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to guide setups and troubleshooting
Conduct test runs and tweak parameters to ensure peak press performance
Troubleshoot issues and carry out minor repairs on presses and tooling
Maintain safe, efficient operation of all assigned equipment
