About The Position

Arcosa Aggregates is seeking a Heavy Equip PM Tech based out of their Waco, Texas plant. In this role, the tech will support a positive safety culture in an aggregate environment that is regulated by MSHA safety standards. As a Heavy Equipment PM Tech, you will work with a team to maintain the heavy equipment in good operating condition to produce natural aggregates in a mining environment.

Requirements

Welding knowledge
Ability to read schematics and manuals to understand the technical aspects of equipment
The ability to stand, stoop, bend, lift, walk, climb stairs, ladders, and catwalks up to 60 feet as required.
The ability to work in varied outdoor environments (cold, hot, dry, dusty, rainy)
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Basic understanding of mechanical principles and the ability to use hand tools.
Ability to lift 60lbs.

Responsibilities

Actively promote safety awareness and continuous improvement through positive recognition
Assist with preventive maintenance on heavy equipment keeping machinery running in good condition
Monitor and assist in routine maintenance to ensure efficient and safe production.
Comply with all industry safety rules, procedures and applicable government regulations.
Perform daily pre-shift on equipment and workplace inspections
Maintain strong communications with other plant employees and operators
Perform other duties or responsibilities as assigned
