The company is seeking a Heavy Equipment PM Mechanic for its Halfway Landfill Facility near Carlsbad, NM. This role involves performing diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance on Diesel Trucks and Heavy Equipment/Yellow Iron. Responsibilities include troubleshooting various vehicle systems, utilizing onboard computer systems for issue resolution, completing work orders with fleet maintenance software, responding to emergency breakdowns, and conducting on-site service calls, all while maintaining a clean, safe, and OSHA-compliant work environment. Requirements

1+ years of hands-on Mechanic experience
Must have your own tools
Basic computer skills for Diagnostics and Documentation
Commitment to safety practices and PPE usage

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance on Diesel Trucks and Heavy Equipment/Yellow Iron.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems.
Use onboard computer systems to identify and resolve vehicle issues.
Complete work orders and documentation using our fleet maintenance software.
Respond to emergency breakdowns and perform on-site service calls.
Ensure a clean, safe, and OSHA-compliant work environment.
