About The Position

We are currently looking for a Heavy Equipment Lube Technician to join our Heavy Civil team in our York, PA facilities. This position will support our Field Service Center and PA projects primarily as well as others in the Mid-Atlantic. Wagman is a multi-faceted construction firm with major operations in heavy civil, general construction and geotechnical construction services. Wagman is a fourth generation, family-owned company with offices in Pennsylvania and Virginia and is headquartered in York, PA. Founded in 1902 Wagman is a nationally recognized leader in the industry. Core competencies include: design-build, infrastructure, marine construction, modified concrete, grooving and grinding, and geotechnical construction services. This is a safety sensitive position requiring work on construction sites with various safety hazards inherent in heavy construction. This position is subject to drug testing and compliance policies associated with our status as a Federal Contractor.

Requirements

• Must have or be able to obtain a CDL B to drive the equipment utilized in the role
• Must be at least 21 years old for interstate driving with a CDL
• Valid Driver's license and reliable transportation

Nice To Haves

• Experience working on construction sites preferred
• Experience driving commercial vehicles such as water trucks a plus

Responsibilities

• Inspecting and lubricating heavy construction equipment in shop and at construction job sites.
• Set up, adjust and maintain assigned equipment
• Make preventative maintenance checks and inspections
• Repair equipment
• Test repaired equipment to insure operating efficiency.
