About The Position

NED, LLC. is a large heavy equipment dealership with over 30 years of industry experience in equipment sales, rentals, and customer support. The company has grown through multiple acquisitions of independent heavy equipment dealerships and is now unified under the name NED – National Equipment Dealers. This full-time position is for a Heavy Equipment Parts Manager, responsible for managing the parts department, growing parts business, processing orders, picking and packing parts, receiving parts, and maintaining inventory. The role requires someone highly organized, a team player, a good communicator, and proficient with computers and forklifts. The company represents some of the top brands in the industry including Hyundai, Construction Equipment, Bell Off-Road Trucks, Manitou, Sakai, and Dynapac.

Requirements

  • Someone who is highly organized and capable of working in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be a team player and able to keep a good attitude under pressure
  • Must be a good communicator and be proficient in using a computer
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Must know how to operate a forklift
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs
  • Must have knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel

Nice To Haves

  • 1-3 years of prior Heavy Equipment Parts OR related automotive parts experience is preferred
  • Previous experience or knowledge of the construction equipment industry is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Manage Parts Department – personnel, sales, paperwork, and required documents
  • Work with the team to grow parts business to meet or exceed company goals
  • Answering phones
  • Processing parts orders
  • Picking and packing parts for shipment
  • Receiving parts
  • Maintaining inventory
