Heavy Equipment Operators - Nevada (5/2 Schedule | 9-Month Project)
About The Position
We are hiring experienced Heavy Equipment Operators for a 9-month heavy civil/mining project in Northern Nevada operating on a 5 days on / 2 days off schedule. This position is best suited for local operators based in Winnemucca or nearby, or candidates willing to self-arrange accommodations and take advantage of daily transportation to site. The project duration is approximately 9 months, with a schedule of 5 days on / 2 days off and shift lengths of 10–12 hours per day. Daily transportation is provided from Winnemucca to the site. Accommodations are not provided; candidates must live locally or secure their own housing in or near Winnemucca.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in mining or heavy civil environments
- MSHA Part 48 (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work a weekday-style schedule for the duration of the project
Nice To Haves
- Experience with haul roads, pads, or bulk earthworks preferred
