About The Position

We are hiring experienced Heavy Equipment Operators for a 9-month heavy civil/mining project in Northern Nevada operating on a 5 days on / 2 days off schedule. This position is best suited for local operators based in Winnemucca or nearby, or candidates willing to self-arrange accommodations and take advantage of daily transportation to site. The project duration is approximately 9 months with a schedule of 5 days on / 2 days off and shift lengths of 10–12 hours per day. Daily transportation is provided from Winnemucca to site, but accommodations are not provided; candidates must live locally or secure their own housing in or near Winnemucca. Morgan has completed over 5400 heavy civil projects over the past 40+ years and has a growing workforce of more than 1000 skilled professionals. Requirements

Minimum 3 years’ experience in mining or heavy civil environments
MSHA Part 48 (or willingness to obtain)
Ability to work a weekday-style schedule for the duration of the project

Nice To Haves

Experience with haul roads, pads, or bulk earthworks preferred

Responsibilities

Operate heavy equipment including Dozers (D6–D10), Excavators (20T–90T), Rock Trucks (40T–100T), and Graders (14M–16M)
Perform heavy civil/mining project tasks, potentially involving haul roads, pads, or bulk earthworks
