About The Position

We are seeking a THIRD SHIFT highly skilled and experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Hinton, VA. As a Mechanic , you will be responsible for performing vehicle inspections, diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues, and ensuring that all vehicles meet state safety and emissions standards. You will work closely with our team of mechanics and service advisors to provide exceptional customer service and maintain a high level of quality workmanship.

Requirements

• Valid Virginia State Inspector License preferred but not required
• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 2 years of experience as a mechanic
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Nice To Haves

• CDL Class A
• Experience with a variety of vehicle makes and models
• Experience with gas and diesel vehicles
• Excellent communication and customer service skills

Responsibilities

• Performing vehicle inspections and identifying any mechanical issues
• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues on a variety of vehicles
• Ensuring that all vehicles meet state safety and emissions standards
• Maintaining accurate records of all inspections and repairs
