The Heat Treatment Manufacturing Engineer is responsible to plan, purchase, install, launch and maintain Heat Treatment Processes across various sections, including FWD and RWD transmissions, components, axles, and Electrified Powertrain, in North America. The role involves technical validation of material requirements on engineering drawings and the development of new technologies such as heat treatment, shot peening and automation (pack in / pack out). Additionally, the Heat Treatment professional ensures the standardization of engineered solutions for metallurgical equipment—prioritizing ergonomics, safety, and productivity—while providing critical support during manufacturing plant launch phases.
