About The Position

Performs newborn hearing screenings using automated screening equipment.

Requirements

• High school or equivalent.
• Must be able to successfully complete the following training requirements: Automated hearing screening, Infection control, universal precautions, and CPR.
• Good computer skills, including data entry
• Basic verbal skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• Able to use automated optoacoustic emissiom and auditory brainstem response screening equipment.
• Must be willing to work weekends, evenings and holidays as needed.

Nice To Haves

• 60 hrs of college credit preferred, health-care experience preferred
• Prefer 60 College credit hours and seeking an individual with strong Spanish and English speaking skills.
