About The Position

The Program Supervisor, Healthy Families leads and supports a team dedicated to strengthening families with young children through early childhood prevention and home visiting services. This role creates a supportive, reflective, and growth-oriented environment for staff, ensuring high-quality service delivery and alignment with Healthy Families America standards. Through coaching, mentorship, and collaboration, the Program Supervisor empowers team members to build strong relationships with families and promote healthy child development and family stability.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Human Services or a related field; OR Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years of relevant experience; OR equivalent combination of education, experience, and/or lived expertise.
  • Experience supervising and supporting staff in human services or related fields.
  • Experience in home visiting, early childhood prevention services, or family services.
  • Knowledge of infant and child development and family systems.
  • Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
  • Must complete and pass all required background checks and drug screening.

  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills with experience coaching, motivating, and developing staff.
  • Knowledge of early childhood development, parent-child attachment, and family-centered, strength-based practices.
  • Experience with reflective supervision or a willingness to actively develop this skill.
  • Ability to support staff through complex and high-stress situations with professionalism and empathy.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and ensure program compliance.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to build collaborative relationships with staff and community partners.
  • Commitment to cultural humility and working with diverse families and communities.

Responsibilities

  • Providing consistent, high-quality reflective supervision that supports staff growth, well-being, and effective service delivery.
  • Ensuring program quality through regular review of documentation, assessments, and adherence to Healthy Families America standards.
  • Building a cohesive, motivated team culture that promotes collaboration, accountability, and professional development.
  • Supporting staff in navigating complex family situations, including crisis response, referrals, and service planning.
  • Maintaining strong program outcomes by supporting enrollment goals, case assignments, and continuous quality improvement efforts.
