About The Position

The Healthy Families Supervisor will focus on helping the team become more aligned in the day-to-day operations of the program, by creating an environment of trust, open communication, and creative thinking, and shall maintain healthy group dynamics. The Healthy Families Supervisor will facilitate problem solving and collaboration by striving for team consensus and win-win agreements. The supervisor understands the overall risk management plan for the organization and is responsible for helping to manage risk to the agency while conducting business. Requirements

  • Masters Degree in human services or fields related to working with children and families (OR) Bachelors Degree in these fields with 3 years of relevant experience (OR) Less than Bachelors with commensurate HFA experience

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the management and oversite of operations within the program, administering polices, practices, procedures, and contract compliance.
  • Provide weekly, one-to-one, reflective supervision with staff, and complete all required supporting documentation.
  • Mentor and coach program staff, participating with them in the field as appropriate.
  • Regularly review reports, documentation and data entry for guideline adherence, accuracy, and accessibility to ensure required information is maintained for audits and annual reports as required by contract.
  • Identify situations that require contact to the DCS hotline regarding concerns for the safety and well-being of children in the home are noted
  • Conduct interviewing, hiring and staff evaluation processes.
