As part of the Regional Security Services team, the Healthcare Protection Officer Trainee (HPOT) is responsible for the physical and personal security for members, staff, and visitors within the health care client facilities. This includes responding to emergency situations, preserving order, and enforcing regulations related to personnel, visitors, and premises. Protects staff and property from theft or damage, or persons from hazards and interference, including the potential for violence in the workplace. The HPOT will work in the health care environment to learn the during a probationary period of 90 days until they attend the HPO Academy.
