About The Position

As the Patient Care Coordinator, you’ll be the friendly face patients see first and the helpful voice they hear when they call. This is a highly meaningful, customer‑service‑driven position supporting mostly elderly patients—so patience, kindness, and empathy are essential. You’ll manage front‑desk responsibilities, coordinate appointments, verify insurance, and help keep our office running smoothly.

Requirements

  • Friendly, patient, and empathetic—especially with elderly patients
  • Strong multitasking skills
  • Comfortable handling a high volume of calls
  • Organized, dependable, and calm under pressure

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with medical offices or insurance verification is a PLUS

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent front‑desk service—greet patients, assist walk‑ins, and guide them to exam rooms.
  • Manage incoming calls with patience and clarity.
  • Communicate frequently with our Grand Rapids office and other branch locations.
  • Schedule and register patients with accuracy and professionalism.
  • Maintain complete and correct patient documentation.
  • Learn and use W+F software (training provided).
  • Verify insurance information using various insurance portals.
  • Process and track patient orders, including outbound follow-up calls.
  • Uphold strong attendance, punctuality, and reliability standards.
