We are seeking a Health & Wellness Director (HWD) / Regional Quality Assurance Registered Nurse (RN) to lead our clinical team in West Seattle while supporting quality and compliance initiatives across Living Care Lifestyles communities in California and the Puget Sound region. This is a unique leadership opportunity for a licensed nurse who is both operationally strong and systems-minded, with the ability to elevate care standards across multiple communities while maintaining hands-on leadership at the site level. This role blends community-based clinical leadership with regional quality oversight: On-site (1/2 time): Serve as the Health & Wellness Director at Quail Park of West Seattle Regional (1/2 time): Support quality assurance, compliance, and clinical consistency across assigned communities in CA and WA

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Experience in assisted living, memory care, or long-term care
  • Strong knowledge of WA WACs CA regulations
  • Demonstrated leadership and team development experience
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Proficient in documentation systems and Microsoft Office

Nice To Haves

  • Multi-site, QA, or compliance experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, train, and mentor care staff
  • Partner with the Executive Director on community operations and staffing
  • Ensure adequate staffing and high-quality resident care delivery
  • Manage department budgets and support occupancy/marketing efforts
  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized service plans
  • Lead care conferences and maintain strong family communication
  • Monitor resident health status and ensure timely interventions
  • Oversee medication management and documentation compliance
  • Ensure care is delivered with dignity, respect, and safety
  • Lead training initiatives in dementia care and clinical best practices
  • Promote engagement programming aligned with resident interests and abilities
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and licensing requirements
  • Conduct routine clinical audits and quality reviews across communities
  • Evaluate compliance with state regulations, company policies, and clinical standards
  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement
  • Support development and implementation of clinical policies, procedures, and tools
  • Provide training and coaching to HWDs and care teams
  • Promote consistency in documentation, assessments, and care delivery
  • Partner with community leadership to implement corrective action plans
  • Assist with survey readiness and response efforts
  • Serve as a clinical resource for complex care or compliance questions
