Health Services Coordinator - Remote In Wisconsin
About The Position
The Health Service Coordinator provides general clinical, clerical, and technical support to nurses in IQIPS, to include Nurse Line, Care Management, and Community Health Access departments. The health service coordinator role requires telephonic interpersonal skills characterized by clear communication in an empathetic and professional manner. The position requires the ability to make decisions consistent with Marshfield Clinic Health Systems’ policy/departmental protocol, with strict observance of patient confidentiality. WORK SHIFT: Remote position with initial training in Marshfield, WI. PM shift, 1:00 pm - 9:00 pm with every other weekend and holiday rotation, variable days of the week.
Requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated keyboard, computer, and telephone proficiency.
Nice To Haves
- Completion of a Medical Terminology course.
- Graduate of a Health Unit Coordinator Program, Medical Office Specialist, or Medical Secretary program.
- Six months previous experience in a healthcare facility to include direct patient contact or previous customer service experience.
