Health Resource Analysts assist in the development, maintenance, implementation, and revision of State health care policies and programs. Incumbents possess a degree of knowledge and proficiency sufficient to perform work independently with little or no additional training. The Division of Public and Behavioral Health Nevada State Immunization Program (NSIP) is hiring a Health Resource Analyst 2 (HRA2), located in Carson City. This position serves as the programmatic system and data analyst within NSIP, and is focused primarily on monitoring, analyzing, and evaluating the use of Nevada WebIZ, the statewide immunization information system (IIS), and is responsible for leveraging findings to implement and measure improvements or to recommend actions to NSIP staff or leadership. This position leads the programmatic management of IIS and other related data, develops written reports to illustrate findings, solutions, gap analyses, and to justify system needs, serves as the program's IIS technical and data expert for both internal and external needs (such as funding applications, required reporting, conference presentations or hearings), provides training and technical assistance regarding system and data management to program staff and external partners, and develops and maintains policies and procedures to support IIS and IIS data management.
