More about our Team Our Health Information Management team plays a vital role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and security of patient health records across the hospital. HIM Technicians work collaboratively to support clinical teams, maintain regulatory compliance, and ensure timely access to critical health information.

Requirements

  • Applicants should have a High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic computer skills required.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in medical records/release of information practices is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provides clerical support along with scanning duties in the functional areas of data compilation, quantitative analysis and verification of records, maintenance of files and correspondence in the HIM Department.
  • Analyzes the assembled record for chart completion deficiencies, in accordance with regulatory requirements and medical staff rules and regulations.
  • Provides professional, confidential support to callers and visitors, including physicians, patients, and families.
