Eligibility requirements and more details found on our College to County website. What Does the Student Health Center (SHC) Program Do? The Student Health Center (SHC) program operates clinics in nine high schools in five school districts in Multnomah County. We facilitate access to comprehensive preventive, primary, behavioral and mental health care for school-age youth (ages 5-18) who live or go to school in Multnomah County. We work with school and community partners to promote whole community, whole school, and whole child health, and we strive to empower youth voice through Student Health Action Councils at our high school SHC sites. This internship will support communications and marketing for the School and Community Engagement (SCE) Team, which provides important information about our clinics and health resources to increase utilization of our services among families and participating school districts.The intern will be under the direction of the Student Health Center Communications Coordinator and work closely with the School and Engagement Team during thesummer.
