ACLU of Georgia welcomes interns each spring, summer, and fall across legal, policy, communications, community engagement, and voter access teams. We accept students at all levels, including high school, undergraduate, graduate, and post-graduate. We are currently accepting applications for the Summer 2026 term, running approximately May 27 through August 14, 2026. Dates may vary based on department needs and academic schedules. Schedules will be coordinated directly with each intern’s supervisor. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, so early submission is encouraged. The priority deadline is March 20, 2026. Due to the expected volume of applications, we may close the posting earlier if needed. All applicants must submit a resume. Some candidates may be asked to provide additional materials. This semester’s internship is offered for academic credit only. Community Engagement & Outreach Interns in this position will recruit, train, and maintain volunteers and members to get them actively engaged with the ACLU of Georgia. Interns will also work to support event creation and coordination, such as events being held at the Georgia State Capitol and in the community. Interns should have an interest in political engagement and must be able to work with people from diverse backgrounds. If you have questions or need an update on your application status, please contact Brittany Bromfield at [email protected]
