About The Position

This is a hybrid position out of North Hills Health Center that will entail client site for health coaching, traveling wellness, presentations, and overall health promotion and advocacy on lifestyle modifications and long-term behavioral improvements. It covers business hours M-F and does entail flexibility around a periodic weekend. The Health Coach will assist with assessing, planning, designing, and implementing the Wellness Works or Workforce Health program, as well as presenting on various health topics to corporate clients. This individual will assist and interact with departments to develop services that meet the needs of Froedtert Health customers. Travel is required. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Two to three years of corporate wellness/health education/program development/community relations/presentation experience is required.
• Valid Driver's License is required.
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within three months of hire.
• Bachelor's degree in health/community education, exercise physiology, or related healthcare/wellness field is required.
• Working knowledge of personal computer and various audiovisual equipment including Microsoft Suite.
• Demonstrates evidence of group facilitation, integrity, initiative, written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Healthcare organization experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of Motivational Interviewing strategies preferred.
• A Master's degree with an emphasis in the health care field is preferred.
• Wellness or Health Coaching certification endorsed by NSHC, ACE or Wellcoaches is preferred.
