About The Position

Legacy Behavioral Health is seeking a Health Care Technician to join our team in Lowndes County. In this role, you’ll play a key part in supporting individuals and families throughout South Georgia with compassionate, high-quality behavioral health services. The health care technician will be responsible for providing administrative and clinical support to ensure efficient operation of the clinic. He/she will support medical staff and individuals served through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication. The target is to complete all activities accurately, with high quality and in a timely manner.. The Health Care Technician will be supervised by the Director of Nursing..

Requirements

  • Hs Diploma/GED
  • One year of working experience as a CNA; preferred
  • Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Social perceptiveness and service oriented
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software
  • Must be CPR and First Aid certified or to obtain certification. Must be physically able to perform CPR.
  • Must be proficient in verbal and written communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and critical thinking.
  • Individuals in this position must be able to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
