Head Women's Field Hockey Coach
About The Position
This position will oversee all aspects of a Division I program, including the management of two full-time assistant coaches. The Head Coach will provide positive direction and leadership to maintain a successful field hockey program; plan and administer all aspects of the program; coach, recruit, adhere to NCAA and MAC compliance policies; demonstrated ability to be fiscally responsible and manage complex budgets; have the ability to work with athletic communications on public relations initiatives; and be directly involved with fundraising and university development initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- Minimum two years coaching experience, preferably at the collegiate level.
- Demonstrated collegiate field hockey recruiting.
- Knowledge of and commitment to following NCAA rules and policies.
- Possess proven integrity.
- Demonstrated leadership skills.
- Have the ability to motivate student-athletes to be successful academically and athletically.
- Possess effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
