The Head Teller is responsible for supervising teller staff and managing the vault in the branch. This role involves overseeing daily teller operations, monitoring performance for sales and customer service, and verifying the accuracy, quality, and quantity of work performed by the teller staff. The Head Teller is also responsible for the vault, responding to emails and reports, training teller staff on all products and policies, assisting local branch management with annual employee reviews, and performing at a high level of sales and cross-selling while motivating others to do the same. Additionally, the Head Teller addresses customer questions and assists with other retail duties as needed.
