About The Position

Build, develop, track and define goals and strategies related to Supply Chain & Customer Service as defined by the Business (regional sales organization) together with the Head of Customer Service. Manage the Advanced Industrial Intermediates (AII) Supply Chain personnel and functions including customer service, pricing, exports and inventory planning to achieve best in class customer service levels with cost efficiency. Find and implement business process opportunities to improve the efficiency of the AII order to cash process. Responsible for adequate staffing. Ensure proper training for supply chain personnel in customer master data management and SAP. Optimize the utilization of existing SAP and other work flows throughout the AII supply chain organization to optimize & standardize processes where possible. Actively represent AII with your team in all Supply Chain Excellence related initiatives and activities and actively seek for optimization potential that benefits AIIs business by using those excellence forums and groups. Develop, track and present KPIs (i.e. Business Unit (BU) working capital targets, DSI, DSO, Receivables, Warehouses) to measure supply chain performance and customer satisfaction. Align with the relevant Global Supply Chain Heads per Business Line (BL) and the regional Business Directors on needed KPIs. Routinely identify needs, gather information & analyze, regularly review & present to relevant audience (Head of Regional Business, Business Directors or global BL Teams) AIIs regional supply chain cost per product, aiming to discuss and implement improvement measures in alignment with the relevant teams. Create where it makes sense useful dashboards (e.g. via Power BI) . Build and manage relationships with relevant Supply Chain partners (external), align where needed with necessary Group Functions (e.g. GPL), but ensure regular alignment & relationship management in line with the needs of the BLs and sales teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain or a related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in Supply Chain Leadership, Transportation and Warehousing
  • Previous experience in a supervisory capacity is required
  • Strong proficiency in SAP (SD module and order-to-cash processes)
  • Must have excellent negotiation skills, ability to use independent judgement and have a high level of self sufficiency
  • Previous project management experience with exceptional  analytical thinking skills
  • Travel for this role will be throughout the U.S. and on occasion may be international
  • This is an ON-SITE position located in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania office
