Alex helps recruiters with their busy work so they can focus on higher leverage tasks and building relationships with promising candidates. The Context & The Mission As we enter our next phase of hyper-growth, we’re looking for an in-person Head of Sales to take absolute ownership of our net-new revenue engine. You are stepping into a high-momentum environment with a rapidly expanding team of Account Executives. Your mission is to systematize our GTM playbook, guide our newest cohorts to full productivity, and build the top-of-funnel machine required to turn our recent record-breaking quarters into our baseline. Startups and careers follow a power law: a small number of years, with the right people on the right problem, can outweigh everything else you’ve ever done. We want Alex to be that curve-bending experience for you.

Requirements

  • The Startup Scaler: You have a proven track record of taking a startup's revenue through a massive growth inflection point (e.g., $1M to $10M+) by building scalable processes.
  • The Ramp Expert: You know how to take large cohorts of new reps and successfully guide them through their ramp period to consistent quota attainment.
  • The SDR Architect: You have built or scaled a high-functioning outbound SDR engine from the ground up to support a growing AE headcount.
  • The In-Person Leader: You believe the best sales cultures in the early growth stages are built face-to-face, and you thrive on the energy of an active sales floor.

Responsibilities

  • Systematize the GTM Engine: Deconstruct our current successful sales motions and rebuild them into a documented, repeatable playbook. You will implement rigorous qualification frameworks to ensure reps rely on process and data, not just intuition.
  • Command the Ramp: We are hiring aggressively. Your immediate priority is hands-on coaching, deal-desking, and pipeline reviews to ensure our rapidly growing team of Account Executives hits full quota capacity on schedule.
  • Scale Pipeline Generation: You will aggressively recruit, hire, and train a world-class SDR function out of our SF office to feed a high volume of qualified pipeline to our closing reps.
  • Build the In-Person Culture: You lead from the front. You will set the tempo, the energy, and the standard of excellence on our San Francisco sales floor every single day. One week at Alex is a month of progress at another startup.
  • Drive Operational Rigor: Implement the "math of sales." Establish the CRM hygiene, dashboarding, and weekly cadences required to forecast pipeline and revenue with pinpoint accuracy.
