Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Head of Quality Assurance to lead our QA function through a transformational journey. This strategic leadership role is central to implementing our Brand Integrity initiative - shifting our testing philosophy from component-based validation to brand-centric quality assurance that ensures seamless end-user experiences across all our casino brands. You will lead a distributed team with some engineers co-located in the office and others working fully remote. Brand Integrity: Our Quality Philosophy Central to this role is championing our Brand Integrity concept. Traditional QA focuses on validating individual components in isolation. However, our players experience our brands as unified products - they do not see microservices, APIs, or deployment pipelines. As Head of QA, you will: Transform testing mindset from "does each component work?" to "does the brand deliver a flawless experience?" Implement end-to-end test scenarios that mirror complete user journeys across registration, deposits, gameplay, and withdrawals Build quality gates that evaluate brand experience holistically before releases Create cross-component regression testing that catches integration issues early Cross-Functional Collaboration & Requirements Clarification Effective quality assurance begins long before testing. This role requires building strong partnerships: Partner with Product Managers to understand feature intent, success criteria, and edge cases before development starts Work with Development leads to establish shared quality standards, definition of done, and testability requirements Facilitate requirements clarification sessions that surface ambiguities and ensure shared understanding Establish joint ownership of quality metrics with Development and Product teams QA Automation Focus Automation is essential to maintaining quality at scale across 20+ brands: Define and execute automation strategy covering UI, API, integration, and performance testing Build automation frameworks using Playwright, Cypress, or similar for frontend testing Implement API test automation using Postman, RestSharp, or similar tools Establish CI/CD integration ensuring automated tests gate deployments Mentor team members in automation best practices and framework development
