About The Position

This organization is advancing the frontier of American technology for national defense and public sector missions. The Head of Public Sector Delivery for GenAI will lead the delivery of complex AI/ML programs supporting government customers at the highest levels. You will be a “player -coach” — managing a team of engagement and technical program managers while personally overseeing strategic customer accounts that shape the future of national security. You’ll help government and defense clients translate next -generation AI technologies into operational capability, ensuring high -impact outcomes through rigorous program management, stakeholder engagement, and technical fluency.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI clearance
  • 8+ years of professional experience, including customer -facing technical program management in the AI, ML, or government tech domains
  • Proven experience leading teams and managing multiple, complex technical workstreams
  • Strong understanding of AI/ML implementation and delivery, ideally within national security or defense environments
  • Technical background (education or experience in computer science, engineering, economics, or statistics)
  • Track record of driving measurable outcomes and working effectively under pressure
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships across diverse teams
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% and comfort being onsite with customers

  • Prior leadership in mission -critical technology deployment or enterprise modernization
  • Hands -on familiarity with LLMs, generative AI, or applied data science programs

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a high -performing team of 5–8 mid -career professionals responsible for AI/ML delivery across public sector accounts
  • Oversee implementation and success across your team’s customer portfolio, ensuring timely execution and measurable impact
  • Serve as a senior liaison across executive, programmatic, and end -user stakeholders in government and industry
  • Partner with engineering, product, and infrastructure teams to prioritize features, resolve issues, and accelerate customer value
  • Analyze operational and user data to inform strategy, identify risks, and drive repeatable success across engagements
  • Champion customer success, building long -term relationships and ensuring mission alignment and satisfaction
  • Support AI/ML integration and modernization, helping customers move from experimentation to operational deployment
  • Coach and develop your team, building their technical, relational, and leadership acumen around AI agents and large language models (LLMs)
