About The Position

Concentric Innovation is seeking a highly technical, strategic, and product-driven Head of Product & Technology to lead the design, development, and evolution of our technology ecosystem. This leader will be responsible for end-to-end product, engineering, data, and integration strategy , ensuring we deliver a modern, seamless, and differentiated advisor and client experience. You will own the delivery of: A next-generation advisor & client portal A custom reporting and analytics platform Robust API-driven integrations across Advent, Salesforce, OMS/EMS systems, custodians, and other critical vendor platforms Scalable, reliable core infrastructure that supports daily tax-aware rebalancing and personalized investment strategies Your mandate: blend precision and control with innovation and execution , elevating how we serve advisors and clients while preparing Concentric for significant growth. This role includes direct oversight and the responsibility to build and develop a high-performing team across product, engineering, integrations, data, analytics, DevOps, and technology operations.

Requirements

7+ years of experience in wealth-management or asset-management technology, with expertise in Advent, TAMP platforms, or similar portfolio-management systems.
Proven success building and operating technology platforms in a financial-services environment.
Deep understanding of investment operations, custodial platforms, and capital-markets processes.
Strong track record managing vendor relationships and negotiating enterprise technology contracts.
Expertise in API ecosystems, data architecture, and emerging technologies (including AI/ML applications).
Experience leading technology implementations, platform migrations, or change-management initiatives.
Exceptional attention to detail, operational discipline, and quality standards.
Excellent communicator and collaborator with a passion for service excellence.
Ability to design and execute strategic initiatives and drive organizational change.
Technologically fluent; able to identify, evaluate, and deploy tools that enhance scale, speed, and client outcomes.
Experience operating effectively in a private equity supported organization.
Keen understanding of external and internal business drivers, pricing strategy and managing budgets and project timelines.

Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Management Define and own the product vision and roadmap for the advisor/client portal and reporting platform.
Translate business and client needs into clear product requirements, user stories, and prioritization frameworks.
Ensure an intuitive, secure, and high-quality user experience across dashboards, reporting, and workflows.
Work directly with executive leadership to align product direction with growth, revenue, and service goals.
Participate hands-on in product discovery and design using tools such as Figma , wireframes, prototypes, and user flows.
Partner closely with designers and engineers using modern product-development tools (Figma, Jira/Linear, Confluence, API documentation platforms).
Engineering & Platform Delivery Lead an organization spanning front-end, back-end, data, and integration engineering.
Oversee the development of proprietary portals, APIs, reporting engines, and scalable platform services.
Establish modern engineering practices, quality standards, secure development protocols, and sound architectural principles.
Ensure system performance, reliability, scalability, and extensibility as the client base and platform needs grow.
Data, Reporting & Analytics Own the data architecture across Concentric, including ingestion from Advent, custodians, trading systems, and CRM platforms.
Ensure accurate, timely, and audit-ready investment performance, reporting, and analytics.
Implement mature data governance, validation, reconciliation, and lineage frameworks.
Evolve reporting capabilities from static outputs to interactive, insight-driven analytics that enhance advisor productivity.
Third-Party Systems & Integrations Provide strategic oversight of critical third-party platforms (Advent, Salesforce, OMS/EMS, market-data providers, custodians).
Drive seamless integration and data flow between internal systems and external vendors.
Lead vendor evaluation, contracting, roadmap alignment, and release coordination.
Make informed build-vs-buy decisions to support cost efficiency, flexibility, and speed to market.
Operational Excellence & Team Leadership Build and lead a high-performing, cross-functional product & technology organization.
Establish strong DevOps, infrastructure, security, and compliance practices.
Implement disciplined QA, testing, and release-management processes.
Create organizational clarity across roles and processes while fostering a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Leadership & Strategic Impact Serve as the technology backbone , ensuring seamless, scalable daily operations.
Own the data architecture and integration strategy to ensure a single source of truth across all platforms.
Negotiate and manage strategic vendor relationships to drive optimal pricing, service levels, and roadmap alignment.
Develop and execute a forward-looking vision for Concentrics’s technology ecosystem that evolves with advisor and client needs.
Partner closely with the executive team to support both Concentric and Pathstone initiatives, platform onboarding, and client experience enhancements.
Build a team that blends deep technical skills with a hands-on, execution-focused mindset.
Build, maintain and leverage relationships across Pathstone and ensure all company-wide resources are leveraged when possible.
