About The Position

Abode Money is building the financial home for your home. Our mission is simple: Make homeownership more affordable for everyday homeowners. We’re using AI to automate the hard parts of saving on home costs such as property tax, insurance, utilities and more. We see a future where AI does the heavy lifting for homeowners (analyzing data, fetching documents, filling forms) - so homeowners can avoid headaches and live more affordably. No one is doing this today, and we see creating an ongoing relationship with homeowners as a massive gap in the market. We have incredible backers, including Core VC, Drive Capital, Sequoia and 81 Collection. We’re looking for a highly autonomous utility player to lead Product Ops. You’ll work closely with the CEO, COO and engineering team to lead optimization of existing operations and productization of new initiatives.

Requirements

  • You’re in Austin or willing to relocate. We’re in-person 4 days a week.
  • You have 5+ years of experience in product, operations, or early-stage startups.
  • You have a track record of taking projects from idea to execution independently.
  • You are Proficient with AI (Cursor, v0, Claude Code) and data (Excel/Google, SQL) tools.
  • You have experience working in an early stage startup (preferably pre-Series A).

Responsibilities

  • Optimize existing product operations: Bring single-threaded ownership to areas such as: lifecycle management, customer onboarding, referral optimization, Dashboard improvement and bug monitoring.
  • Manage product roadmap: Work with the CEO and COO to turn ideas into concrete workflows by having more “product-oriented ownership” (e.g. PRDs, post-launch QA, support flows, bug handling, etc.).
  • Launch early versions of new products: Launch insurance, exemption, PMI, investor/multi-property features, mortgage, affiliate programs, mailers - all with minimal engineering.
  • Bring greater visibility to “voice of the customer”: Create more avenues for measuring and soliciting customer feedback and bring better routing of support insights back into product feedback.
