Why This Role Matters RMW is growing rapidly, and with growth comes the need to deliver consistently excellent service, leverage our subject matter expertise at scale, and ensure our offices operate as one unified firm. The Head of Practice Operations is the leader who will architect and implement the processes and systems to drive quality and efficiency. This role bridges a foundational understanding of the tax and accounting services provisioned by a public accounting firm, practice management, and systems strategy to ensure that our professionals are supported with the right frameworks, tools, and insights to succeed. Reporting to the President, the Head of Practice Operations partners with office leaders on driving revenue and profit growth by delivering excellent service cost effectively at scale, focusing on levers such as production management (staff utilization and productivity, and technology), technical quality, pricing and practice development, leveraging practice management tools and platforms for insights and execution. The Head of Practice Operations is the subject matter expert who understands how a CPA firm should operate at its best and ensures that our processes, systems, and people align to deliver that standard across every office.
