About The Position

This role leads the Americas OCM International Supply Chain business, overseeing strategy, commercial performance, and executive customer engagement. Responsibilities include setting growth targets for strategic customers, ensuring deal governance, driving revenue expansion with differentiated solutions, and acting as senior sponsor for major accounts. The position collaborates with Sales/BD, Operations, IT, and Finance to align solution delivery with customer commitments and margins. It also manages the regional solution roadmap and capability development, scaling technology-enabled offerings. As a people leader, the role builds leadership across Client Management, Sales, and Solutions Design to foster sustained growth and customer advocacy.

Requirements

  • University degree preferred, ideally in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 15 years of leadership experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain, with extensive executive‑level customer engagement.
  • Deep expertise in supply chain solutions, commercial models, and customer value creation.
  • Proven business‑unit leadership experience, including strategy development, governance, and leading senior leaders within complex organizations.
  • Strong executive presence with excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder‑management skills, including customer‑facing business development engagements.
  • Demonstrated success leading complex strategic pursuits, commercial structuring, and contract negotiations.
  • Ability to operate effectively and build consensus within large, matrixed regional and global organizations to execute strategic priorities.
  • Strong relationship‑building skills with external stakeholders to accelerate business development within targeted verticals.
  • Proven ability to coach, develop, and manage direct reports to enhance performance and career progression.
  • Experience using CRM systems to support pipeline management and commercial execution.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as executive sponsor for priority customer accounts and strategic prospects; build and maintain senior (Director/VP/C‑suite) relationships.
  • Define, review, and guide multi‑year account strategies including value agendas, QBRs, and stakeholder engagement plans.
  • Set solution direction and lead executive‑level negotiations, renewals, and issue escalations.
  • Own retention, share‑of‑wallet expansion, and margin outcomes; initiate corrective actions where required.
  • Align Sales/BD, Operations, IT, Finance, and Solutions teams to deliver on commercial commitments.
  • Co‑own the Americas new‑business strategy with Sales/BD, including target account selection and coverage model.
  • Approve pursuit strategies, value propositions, and commercial positioning to ensure strategic fit, differentiation, and ROI.
  • Lead cross‑functional pursuits spanning solution design, pricing, risk, and proposal development.
  • Engage senior customer stakeholders to influence decision‑making and accelerate deal closure.
  • Chair deal governance, including bid/no‑bid decisions, pricing discipline, and commercial risk approval.
  • Define and own the regional OCM solution roadmap aligned to customer needs, market trends, and GHQ direction.
  • Govern IT and systems priorities to enable scalable, repeatable customer solutions and implementations.
  • Scale differentiated offerings through standardization, governance, and value realization across the Americas.
  • Establish clear performance standards across Client Management, Sales/BD, and Solutions Design teams.
  • Build leadership bench strength through succession planning, targeted hiring, and structured talent reviews.
  • Drive engagement and culture through clear objectives, coaching, recognition, and decisive management of underperformance.
  • Sponsor capability building for executive engagement and strategic pursuits (playbooks, training, and best‑practice sharing).
