Requirements

  • 15+ years broad HR experience, with deep expertise in HR CoE and Compensation & Benefits.
  • Proven experience in a senior HR role or in a comparable position, ideally in semiconductor or globally operating technology company
  • Exceptional strategist and out of the box thinker with experience in driving strategic insights from data.
  • Experience in building and maintaining long-term relationships with key internal & external stakeholders.
  • Experience in constructively collaborating with all stakeholders – working towards the best for the company.
  • Experience with Qualified and Non-Qualified 401k & Pension Programs.
  • Experience with self-insured health programs.
  • Project management and leadership capabilities
  • Conceptual design and global mindset.
  • Strength based leadership mindset.
  • Strong understanding of reward and compensation schemes (variable incentive plans)
  • High level of HRIT System acumen, Oracle a plus.
  • Deep market understanding and trends in compensation and recognition and benefits.
  • Finance skills and understanding of tax laws.
  • Experience in North and South America benefit and compensation regulations, requirements, and market competitive programs.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a global strategy for Compensation & Recognition in alignment with the company's goals and framework, meeting targets in collaboration with the Corporate Total Rewards Center of Excellence (CoE).
  • Create competitive compensation and benefits packages to motivate, retain, and attract talent in the Americas region (US, Mexico, Brazil & Canada).
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) reflecting strategic priorities, monitoring trends, and measuring impact.
  • Support the company's cash flow and financial resilience through effective Compensation & Recognition strategies.
  • Define the Compensation & Recognition strategy for the Americas region in collaboration with the Corporate CoE.
  • Implement compensation and benefits strategies aligning with the company's business objectives, supporting talent attraction, retention, and engagement, while ensuring alignment with the company’s budget/investment plan.
  • Design innovative and flexible compensation & recognition solutions to engage talent, including retention and attraction strategies.
  • Lead the governance of retirement plans for employees and executives, managing third-party relationships, plan administration, and governance.
  • Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts with third-party providers, and ensure processes adhere to HR/global standards and local regulations.
  • Analyze market trends and benchmarking data to ensure competitive compensation and benefits programs.
  • Partner with HR and business leaders to develop effective communication and education programs related to compensation and benefits.
  • Ensure a strong link with Performance Management for consistent results monitoring and reward.
  • Develop and implement innovative instruments regarding compensation & benefits, such as equity plans and variable pay plans.
  • Manage the company's 401k and pension plans, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, and providing guidance and support to employees. Conduct annual plan audits.
