About The Position

Vanguard is transforming how we engage wealth management clients and their families, by leveraging digital and data capabilities . As the Head of Wealth Practice , you will lead the end - to - end digitization and integration of the building blocks of a wealth management practice. Your leadership will shape how frontline crew get insights into their books of business, how and when they engage with their clients and how our systems – client experience, crew experience, marketing, advisory and wealth services – understand the full scope of client relationships . What You’ll Do In partnership with Personal Wealth Technology and Architecture, you will define and lead the digital strategy for the building blocks of the wealth management practice - including teaming models, referral networks, segment alignment and transitions, householding. You will work to integrate these foundational capabilities in partnership with Personal Wealth product and Martech lines across the spectrum of the full client lifecycle, advancing prospecting, needs discovery, and solution positioning, building household relationships, beneficiary engagement, and wealth‑transfer processes. By uniting product strategy, design, journey management, and operational execution, you will ensure these journeys are client‑centric, compliant, and scalable across the enterprise.

Requirements

  • The ability to set and execute an enterprise-wide strategy for complex offer journeys, ensuring they remain modern, compliant, and client focused.
  • Skill in digitizing and automating regulatory, compliance, and disclosure processes to reduce risk and enhance client and crew experience.
  • Experience establishing governance and oversight frameworks in partnership with Legal, Risk, Compliance, Operations, and Technology.
  • Strength in leading end-to-end experience design across prospecting, assessment, offer configuration, wealth transfer, and servicing workflows.
  • Proven collaboration across AWM, PI, Technology, and Operations to scale journeys without compromising quality or controls.
  • Leadership capability to build and develop a high performing team of journey managers, product strategists, and operational integrators.
  • A track record of delivering measurable outcomes, such as reduced cycle time, fewer NIGO events, increased digital adoption, stronger regulatory adherence, and improved client satisfaction.
  • Experience leading highly regulated journeys across multiple divisions.
  • Expertise designing and operating complex journeys in advice, wealth, operations, or regulated product environments.
  • Deep understanding of regulatory, compliance, and supervisory frameworks, with the ability to translate requirements into streamlined digital workflows.
  • Advanced product and journey strategy skills, including structured problem solving and outcome-based execution.
  • Executive level communication and influence aligning senior stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead large, diverse teams and set long-term vision.
  • A client-obsessed approach that prioritizes clarity, transparency, and simplicity in key moments.
