About The Position

At Port.io, we are building an open and flexible Agentic Engineering Platform for modern engineering organizations. Following our recent $100M Series C funding round, we are in a phase of rapid hypergrowth with strong enterprise momentum. We act as the central nervous system for engineering, enabling platform teams to unify their stack and expose it as a governed layer through golden paths for developers and AI agents. By combining rich engineering context, workflows, and actions, we help organizations transition from manual processes to autonomous, AI-assisted engineering workflows while maintaining control and accountability. As a product-led company, we believe in building world-class platforms that fundamentally shape how modern engineering organizations operate. As Port continues to grow, we are looking for a Head of Demand Generation to own and scale our demand generation efforts. This is a high-impact, strategic role responsible for driving pipeline growth, optimizing marketing performance, and accelerating revenue generation. The ideal candidate is a data-driven marketer with a deep understanding of demand generation strategies, performance marketing, and account-based marketing (ABM).

Requirements

  • Proven experience working in a DevTools / DevOps / developer-focused environment and a strong understanding of marketing to technical audiences.
  • 7+ years of experience in B2B demand generation, growth marketing, or performance marketing, preferably in SaaS, DevOps, or developer tools.
  • Goal-driven, Demonstrates a strong focus on achieving objectives and delivering measurable results.
  • Proven track record of designing and executing successful demand generation programs that drive pipeline growth and revenue impact.
  • Deep expertise in digital marketing, paid acquisition, ABM, and multi-channel campaign execution.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to track and optimize key marketing KPIs, including CAC, LTV, pipeline velocity, and attribution modeling.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with sales, product marketing, and content teams to align demand generation efforts with business goals.
  • Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and execute multiple campaigns simultaneously.
  • Strong understanding of the buyer journey in enterprise software and technical markets.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Responsibilities

  • Demand Generation Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive demand generation strategy that drives high-quality leads and accelerates pipeline growth.
  • Multi-Channel Campaigns: Plan and optimize campaigns across digital, paid media, email, content marketing, webinars, SEO, and ABM to maximize engagement and conversion rates.
  • ABM & Enterprise Marketing: Design and execute highly targeted ABM programs to engage strategic accounts and key decision-makers.
  • Pipeline Ownership: Collaborate closely with sales to ensure a steady flow of qualified opportunities, optimizing marketing programs to support revenue goals.
  • Performance Marketing: Own paid advertising, retargeting, and digital marketing initiatives, ensuring efficient spend and measurable ROI.
  • Analytics & Optimization: Measure, analyze, and optimize demand generation programs, providing clear reporting on attribution, conversion rates, and pipeline impact.
