Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in communications, marketing, journalism or related field
  • 7+ years corporate communications experience
  • Any media, social media, digital content development experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Strong oral/written communications skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to understand/translate business priorities
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
  • Proven track record of teamwork, innovation and delivery of business communication results
  • Consulting/influencing skills
  • Ability to interact and influence at all levels
  • Creative approach to strategic problem-solving, messaging and communication delivery

Nice To Haves

  • 10+ years corporate communications external/internal comms experience
  • Any experience with communications in healthcare and/or health organization
  • Any experience in retail environment

Responsibilities

  • Develop/execute leadership communication strategy; act as primary communication consultant and provide direct support to department’s leadership
  • Advise/counsel on communications issues/opportunities
  • Enhance content strategy and editorial planning for internal communication vehicles
  • Contribute to the corporate storytelling engine creating compelling content to connect with associates and customers
  • Provide external communication support (i.e., press releases, media requests, speaking opportunities, planning/execution of media events)
  • Align with Corporate Communications/Media relations on approach, messaging and timing of all external communication
  • Develop/implement a comprehensive associate communications & engagement strategy
  • Build a plan and message to support an increase in associates’ commitment/engagement with our strategies
  • Lead internal planning/communications strategies that inspire associates to adopt behaviors to improve customer experience
  • Create/implement communication strategies to enhance the associate experience
  • Advise/coach leaders on opportunities to enhance two-way communication and drive associate engagement, champion change and execute strategy
  • Maintain standards and consult with stakeholders to ensure all communication adheres to our direct to store communication process
  • Ensure all communication/storytelling adheres to company’s brand guidelines, standards, and tone of voice
  • Lead community engagement and content creation for group on internal business social network and any other digital/social channels
  • Work with Communications team to accelerate communications research and measurement to improve team’s overall effectiveness
