Senior Vice President, Head of Business Operations & Global Manufacturing (PCV) Role Overview The Senior Vice President, Head of Business Operations & Global Manufacturing (PCV) is a critical member of the Business Line leadership team, responsible for driving end-to-end operational excellence across engineering, product development, manufacturing, supply chain, and order execution for the Pump, Cyclone, and Valve (PCV) Business Line. This role ensures the seamless integration of global business operations with regional manufacturing and distribution execution, delivering on safety, quality, cost, and delivery commitments while advancing continuous improvement and strategic growth. The SVP will play a pivotal role in shaping operational strategy, strengthening leadership capability, and aligning global standards with regional execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of senior leadership experience in global manufacturing, engineering, and operations environments.
  • Proven experience managing multi-site manufacturing, warehouse, and distribution operations.
  • Strong background in continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma).
  • Demonstrated success in leading engineering/product development and operational execution.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in industrial equipment, pumps, or related industries preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the full operational lifecycle including proposal development, engineering, manufacturing, and order execution across the PCV business line.
  • Ensure alignment between inside sales, customer service, engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain to deliver consistent, high-quality outcomes.
  • Drive standardization of proposal, project, and order execution processes globally.
  • Champion a zero-incident safety culture across all manufacturing, warehouse, and distribution operations.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations globally and regionally.
  • Implement robust safety programs, audits, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Oversee multi-site manufacturing, warehouse, and distribution operations, ensuring productivity, cost-efficiency, and on-time delivery.
  • Optimize production workflows, logistics networks, and resource allocation to improve throughput and reduce cost.
  • Drive capacity planning, footprint optimization, and supply chain resilience.
  • Lead Product Engineering and Development teams to ensure alignment with operational capabilities and business strategy.
  • Strengthen collaboration between engineering, manufacturing, and procurement to improve product quality, cost, and scalability.
  • Support innovation and lifecycle management of PCV products.
  • Define and standardize proposal processes to improve speed, accuracy, and competitiveness.
  • Review complex proposals to mitigate risk and validate cost structures.
  • Support commercial negotiations and ensure alignment with strategic and financial objectives.
  • Embed Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies across all operations.
  • Drive a culture of data-driven decision-making and performance management.
  • Lead initiatives that improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance customer experience.
  • Translate global operational strategies into effective regional execution plans.
  • Ensure consistency in global standards while adapting to regional regulatory and market requirements.
  • Partner with global and regional leaders to deliver on strategic priorities.
  • Build and develop high-performing leadership teams across engineering, manufacturing, and operations.
  • Establish strong succession planning, capability building, and leadership development programs.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.
  • Serve as a key liaison between global leadership, regional operations, and external stakeholders.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and partners to strengthen operational and commercial outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization to drive alignment and engagement.
  • Lead global inside sales and customer service operations to ensure efficient and effective front-end execution.
  • Oversee Unit Management teams and global service center operations (including Shanghai).
  • Define and implement standardized processes for proposals, project execution, and parts delivery.
  • Collaborate closely with strategic procurement to reduce costs and improve supplier performance.
  • Drive operational integration between manufacturing, warehousing, and distribution networks.
  • Ensure alignment between engineering design and manufacturing capabilities.
  • Implement global best practices and leverage digital and operational technologies to enhance performance.
  • Monitor and improve key performance indicators including safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
  • Support business line growth by enabling scalable, efficient, and customer-focused operations.
