At LTV ai, we're redefining email marketing for e-commerce brands by automating a lot of the day-to-day manual grunt work that goes into email marketing, from segmentation, to creating campaigns without designers, to personalization. As our first dedicated BD hire reporting directly to the founder, you'll own the playbook from day one - building new logo acquisition engines and channel partnerships from scratch. This is a ground-floor opportunity to shape how LTV ai scales its go-to-market motion and eventually build a team around what you create.

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of experience in Business Development, Partnerships, or Strategic Sales within SaaS environments
  • Proven track record of building BD or channel programs from zero - not just running existing playbooks
  • Experience structuring and closing agency partnerships, technology integrations, or reseller agreements
  • AI-first operator - you instinctively reach for AI to automate prospecting, streamline workflows, and accelerate deal velocity
  • Highly autonomous with strong ownership mentality; comfortable operating with minimal structure in a fast-moving startup
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills; you can navigate complex partner organizations and build trust quickly
  • Analytical mindset - you use data to prioritize opportunities, optimize outreach, and measure what's working
  • Entrepreneurial DNA - whether you've started something yourself or operated like a founder inside a company, you thrive building from scratch

Responsibilities

  • Own new logo acquisition strategy and execution, identifying and closing net-new business opportunities across target segments
  • Build channel partnerships from scratch - agencies, technology partners, resellers - creating scalable revenue streams beyond direct sales
  • Develop and iterate on BD playbooks, processes, and infrastructure; you're not inheriting a system, you're creating one
  • Collaborate closely with the founder to align BD strategy with company priorities and refine positioning for different partner and prospect segments
  • Work cross-functionally with Sales and Customer Success to ensure seamless handoffs and long-term account success
  • Leverage AI tools and workflows to maximize outreach efficiency, pipeline management, and partner enablement
  • Track, analyze, and report on BD metrics to inform strategy and demonstrate ROI on partnership investments
  • Lay the foundation for a future BD team as the function scales
