About The Position

This position is within Keller Executive Search. As the Head of Application Management, you will lead the application management team and oversee the effective operation, maintenance, and enhancement of business-critical applications. This role will collaborate closely with IT, business units, and external vendors to ensure applications meet organizational needs and support strategic goals.

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of experience in application management or related IT roles.
  • Proven leadership experience managing technical teams.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise applications, software development lifecycle, and IT service management.
  • Experience working with vendors and managing service-level agreements.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced degree or certifications preferred.
  • Experience in recruitment or professional services industries is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the application management team ensuring high performance and collaboration.
  • Maintain, support, and improve existing enterprise applications.
  • Manage application lifecycle including deployment, updates, and decommissioning.
  • Develop and implement standards, policies, and procedures for application management.
  • Coordinate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure application solutions align with business needs.
  • Manage vendor relationships and service agreements related to applications.
  • Monitor application performance and ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Ensure security and compliance of all managed applications.
  • Report on application status, issues, and improvements to senior leadership.
