About The Position

Anitox partners with the world’s leading feed ingredient, poultry, swine and farmed fish producers, enabling them to make safer food more efficiently through the development of clean feed technologies. Today, our class-leading portfolio is set to grow following acquisition by Iluma Alliance in 2024. We’re focused on innovative chemical and biological solutions to improve livestock performance, control Salmonella, E.coli, Clostridia and a host of viruses which impact animal welfare, productivity and human food security, and drive milling efficiency. We are currently seeking a Global Head of Application Systems Excellence to own application systems excellence across our customer installed base, ensuring all dosing, monitoring, and automation systems are consistently deployed, operational, utilized, and delivering measurable customer and business outcomes through standardized, reliable, and scalable field execution. Rather than managing day-to-day field activity, this role translates global field experience into a global framework of standardized application practices for field execution, including: Application standards, System validation practices, Training programs, Documentation standards, Customer engagement expectations. The ideal candidate will be a senior-level professional with experience in production environments such as feed milling or similar industrial operations and a minimum 10 years of experience working with application, dosing, or industrial systems deployed in real production environments.

Requirements

  • Feed Milling or Agricultural Processing Experience - Deep understanding of feed mill operations and feed ingredient processing environments, with the ability to align application systems, service practices, safety expectations, and automation interfaces to the realities of mill operations, ensuring solutions are practical to deploy, valued by customers, and easy for mills to adopt and support.
  • Application Systems and Field Execution Experience - Minimum 10 years of experience working with application, dosing, or industrial systems deployed in real production environments. Strong understanding of how systems are installed, commissioned, maintained, and operated in the field—not just designed.
  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience) in Animal Science, Engineering, Food Science, Feed Technology, or Agribusiness.
  • Feed Milling or Agricultural Processing Experience - Direct experience in production environments such as feed milling, grain processing facilities, food production environments, or similar Industrial processing operations.
  • Installed Base Performance and Operational Accountability - Experience managing or improving performance across an installed base of systems, including identifying underperforming or inactive systems, driving corrective actions, and ensuring systems are actively delivering value over time.
  • Standards, Execution Frameworks, and Field Consistency - Experience defining and implementing standardized approaches for field execution, including installation, commissioning, maintenance, and documentation. Ability to translate field experience into practical, repeatable standards that improve consistency across teams.
  • Operational Problem Solving and Root Cause Analysis - Proven ability to diagnose system performance issues in real-world environments, identify root causes, and implement practical solutions that improve reliability, usability, and safety.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership and Influence - Ability to lead across sales, operations, technical teams, and customers without direct authority. Experience driving alignment and action across functions to resolve issues and improve performance.
  • Customer-Facing Technical Experience - Experience working directly with customers in operational environments, explaining system performance, addressing concerns, and translating technical insights into actionable improvements.
  • Data, Monitoring, and Performance Visibility - Experience working with system data, monitoring tools, or operational reporting to understand performance, identify issues, and support decision-making. Ability to translate data into practical actions—not just reporting.
  • Global Perspective and Travel Flexibility - Willingness and ability to travel internationally and operate across multiple regions and cultures.

Nice To Haves

  • Automation and Monitoring Systems Experience - Experience with industrial automation, PLC systems, SCADA platforms, remote monitoring technologies, or digital performance monitoring tools.
  • Global Operations Experience - Experience working across multiple regions or supporting global operations, including adapting standards and practices across different markets.
  • Continuous Improvement Mindset - Experience applying structured approaches to improve system performance, reduce variability, and enhance execution consistency (Lean, Six Sigma, or equivalent practical experience).
  • Safety and Operational Compliance Awareness - Familiarity with regulatory and safety frameworks such as OSHA, IOSH, GMP, HACCP, or similar operational safety standards, with the ability to incorporate these into field execution standards and system design considerations.
  • Reliability and Asset Performance Experience - Exposure to asset reliability, maintenance strategies, or performance optimization approaches within industrial systems.

Responsibilities

  • Own System Performance and Value Delivery- Accountable for defining what “good performance” looks like across the installed base and ensuring systems consistently deliver that level of performance in real-world customer environments.
  • Establish Global Application Standards and Execution Frameworks - Defines and governs how application systems are deployed, validated, and supported across all regions by establishing clear, consistent standards for field execution.
  • Build Field Technician Capability and Consistency - Establishes a global framework for field technician competency, ensuring that technical capability, execution quality, and customer interaction are consistent across the organization. This includes setting clear expectations for onboarding, training, and ongoing development of technical knowledge and field practices. The objective is not simply technical proficiency, but consistent, confident execution in real-world production environments.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement of Systems and Technology - Drives continuous improvement in system performance, reliability, and usability across the installed base, using field experience, system data, and customer feedback to identify and prioritize opportunities.
  • Establish Installed Base Visibility and Drive Utilization - Ensures that all systems in the field are visible, actively operating, and delivering value—not just installed.
  • Improve Data, Monitoring, and System Intelligence - Strengthens how system performance is tracked, understood, and acted upon.
  • Health, Safety, and Operational Excellence - Owns the global framework for safe system deployment and operation, ensuring that safety is embedded within how work is performed rather than treated as a separate compliance activity. This includes establishing training materials, procedures, and documentation to ensure compliance with applicable safety and regulatory standards such as OSHA, IOSH, GMP, HACCP, and customer site safety requirements.
