Requirements

  • Experience: 5+ years of progressive experience in high-volume kitchens, with a track record of leadership in similar roles.
  • Culinary Expertise: Proven mastery in culinary arts, with a strong background in menu creation, recipe development, and food presentation.
  • Leadership & Team Management: Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and mentor a diverse kitchen team in a high-pressure environment, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
  • Cost Control & Inventory Management: Solid experience in managing food costs, budgeting, and inventory control, along with the ability to negotiate effectively with suppliers.
  • Food Safety & Compliance: In-depth knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices, with relevant certifications (e.g., ServSafe) preferred.
  • Operational Efficiency: Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, ensuring smooth daily kitchen operations and efficient workflow.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with management, front-of-house staff, and vendors.

  • Administrative & Scheduling Duties: Oversee scheduling, budgeting, and record-keeping, ensuring smooth administrative operations that support the overall success of the kitchen.
