About The Position

As the HDNU Change Leader, you will own the execution of the Management of Change (MOC) process for HDNU gas turbine customer requirements, from initial Change Issue (CHGIs) throughout full completion (CA, CH, UCO) within the Greenville, SC factory. This consists of identifying when a change is proposed, executing the change, partnering with the cross functional team to determine the cut in plan, and ensuring risks are captured and mitigated by the production team. The role involves defining cross functional MOC teams, coordinating inputs to the Technical Change Forum (TCF) for CHGI review and approval, screening for change impact and risks, and acting as a key liaison between the plant leader, project team, product & configuration engineering team, and extended supply chain team (e.g., Materials management, Sourcing, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Operations). You will also conduct risk assessments, define risk mitigation actions with collaboration from the cross functional MOC team, and drive the execution of changes post CHGI approval, via Change Actions (CA), until fully released and deployed. Further responsibilities include developing and maintaining communication plans throughout the change lifecycle, creating detailed project plans and Gantt charts with clear milestones and critical paths, monitoring change execution on a recurring basis, coordinating resources, managing project timelines, and ensuring compliance with customer specifications and corporate requirements. Finally, you will assess the effectiveness and sustainability of changes to confirm requirements are met and stable over time. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field
  • Experience in project management, process improvement, or change management
  • Minimum of 8 years leading Engineering, Manufacturing, and/or Quality

Responsibilities

  • Define cross functional MOC team for HDNU changes based on change requirements
  • Coordinate inputs to Technical Change Forum (TCF) for CHGI review & approval on behalf of Global Supply Chain (for potential [GVL/EPF] factory execution)
  • Screen for change impact and risks
  • Act as key liaison between the plant leader, project team, product & configuration engineering team, and extended supply chain team (e.g., Materials management, Sourcing, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Operations)
  • Conduct risk assessment (as needed) and define risk mitigation actions with collaboration from cross functional MOC team
